This is a very important issue that seems to be ignored. There are thousands of dogs and cats already in kennels waiting for new homes, there needs to be a licence for breeding and strict regulations for obtaining this licence. Each time a new litter of kittens or puppies are born an older dog misses out on the chance of a forever home. Far too many people are breeding their animals regularly for money. This is selfish and has a detrimental effect on the dogs used for breeding. We have a huge issue with unwanted pets here in the UK, let's do something about it!!
