For far too long women have been victims of violent crimes in Trinidad and Tobago. Women, girls and babies have been subjected to heinous acts of rape, sexual assault, physical abuse etc and the laws protect the criminals more than the victims. The victims never get justice. The justice system is slow and appalling. Police have a huge role to play in the delay and absence of justice just as the laws do. Laws need reform! Penalties need to be stiffer! Consequences must be unimaginable and must act as a deterrent to these monsters in society. Stop these demons and stop them now!!! How many more women and girls must vanish? How many more must be found dead? How many families must be broken? How many innocent persons must suffer and feel this antagonizing pain of not knowing what happened to their loved ones? How many more must leave innocent children behind to continue life motherless? How many more? Where is the sex offender registry Trinidad and Tobago? Why do we continue to protect the criminals and the law abiding citizens must continue to suffer! 

We NEED the government of Trinidad and Tobago to make the following happen:

- publish the sexual offender registry publicly- it will save lives

- law reform in favour of victims

- stiffer more serious penalties for criminals for these offenses 

- swifter trials and sentencing

- make offenses like these non bailable 

- revamp the corrupt police system and remove the known elements who play critical roles in all crimes

- reduce amount of hours which must pass before a missing person report can be filed- time is critical in saving lives!

All citizens have a right to speak up and report anything they see, know, hear or suspect to help curb this crime fight.
