The aftermath of typhoons Quinta, Rolly, Siony, and Ulysses heavily affected and even ruined the lives and livelihood of thousands of Filipinos yet Duterte still hasn't made any concrete plans and actions to aid the people—there are still no relief operations, feeding programmes, and proper education. Adamsonians and students all over the nation continue to suffer from the successive natural disasters all the while struggling from the defective distance and flexible learning of the government. This injustice and inhumanity must be stopped; we must not let this continue.

We are tired of being "resilient." The Filipino people's resiliency is only a response to the Duterte Administration's state neglect. Given that the national government only did its duty to aid the people, the people would not be forced to help one another.

As Vincentians, we must stand in solidarity with the poor and the marginalized for justice, peace, and respect for human dignity and the integrity of creation. To stay silent in times of crisis is to become an enemy of the people and we do not in any way condone the injustices and inhumanity committed by the Duterte administration.

We are encouraging all Adamsonians to continue demanding that the Duterte Administration be held accountable for its criminal negligence and state abandonment. Let us unite in times of crisis and injustice. Let us call on Pres. Duterte: ACT NOW OR STEP DOWN!
