Today, @acfanimalrescueofficial posted a video of a man who intentionally tied a dog to his car and dragged it along the road while he drove. Unfortunately, the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act is outdated and there are concerning gaps with animal welfare legislation in Pakistan. Thus, no one faces any dire consequences on the crimes committed against animals. We have limited information on this individual but we do know he resides in Karachi with the number plate AFF 820. The people of Pakistan demand that he be arrested and held completely and fully accountable for his actions. Let us make an example of this man, so that in the future, one will think twice before hurting an innocent animal. Other immediate actions to be taken ASAP:

 
- we would like to request the government to stop the intentional poisoning and killing of dogs and adopt a more humane approach, similar to that of the Turkish government.
- The government must allocate shelters for stray animals so that they are saved from such barbarians.
- People who sell animals should be required to have a license in order to make sure they treat the animals humanely.
