Stop Toll Increase in Highways Throughout Malaysia

On behalf of fellow Malaysians from all walks of life, the DAP Socialist Youth of Selangor hereby call upon the Government of Malaysia to reverse the decision to increase the toll rates on highways. The reduction of the toll rates should be with the ultimate aim of eventual total eradication of toll rates for profit and for the implementation for new minimal rates for the sole purpose of maintenance. We urge the government to instead concentrate its efforts on plugging leakages in order to find the revenue for developmental purposes. The increase of toll rates will eventually increase transportation costs hence increasing costs of goods and services which will eventually burden the people in general. Therefore, the people should never have to bear the brunt of paying for debts created by the incompetency of the federal government. 

We call upon fellow Malaysians from all walks of life to reject the government's decision by signing this petition to be presented to the coming Parliament sitting. 

We demand the government must unconditionally reverse it's decision to increase toll rates on highways or continue to face further protests by the people!

Hentikan Kenaikan Kadar Tol di Lebuhraya Seluruh Malaysia

Bagi pihak rakyat Malaysia dari semua lapisan masyarakat, Pemuda Sosialis DAP Selangor dengan ini menggesa Kerajaan Malaysia untuk menarik balik keputusan menaikkan kadar tol di lebuh raya di seluruh Malaysia.

Peningkatan kadar tol akan meningkatkan kos pengangkutan sekaligus menaikkan harga barangan dan perkhidmatan yang akhirnya akan menambah rakyat yang tidak sepatutnya menanggung beban membayar hutang yang dicipta oleh ketidakcekapan Kerajaan Persekutuan.

Kami ingin meminta semua rakyat Malaysia menolak dan membantah keputusan kerajaan manaikkan kadar tol dengan menandatangani petisyen ini untuk disampaikan kepada persidangan Parlimen yang akan bermula tidak lama lagi.

Tarik balik kenaikan kadar tol atau hadapi protes daripada semua golongan rakyat!
