One of the biggest problems today because of which the environment is being impacted upon adversely is population. With greater population, comes greater needs, demands and greater amount of waste generated. Resources are depleting, and there are simply not enough trees to control global warming. WHO says there should 5 trees for every 1 person in this world to ensure a healthy living, but the case is opposite these days. To tackle the climate change and even more destruction of crops day by day, this policy has to be implemented as soon as possible. Most of the problems of low income group start when they produce more than one or two children. Simply because some do not have enough income to feed even two of them. I have seen many people living in slums having 5 or even 6 children. Sadly, since children are a form of liability, because they have expenses as soon as they enter in this world and, people who have many children are not able feed all of them. These people simply dont know they should not produce more than one or two children or because they dont have right education. Also, if you try to explain, they wouldn't understand. I'm saying this because I tried to explain this to my cook and she didn't even care. I saw many migrant labourers travelling on their feet carrying more than 3 children. That is where understood why are they not able to do well in their lives. Implementing this policy would save many lives and also would have a huge impact on environment.
