The money which could've been used for the welfare of the millions of people who have lost their occupations because of the lockdown is being used in constructing a temple for the worship of an idol. Is worshipping idols more important than feeding the poor? Lakhs of people are migrating from cities to their villages because they have lost their jobs. They are walking barefoot and many are dying of hunger. So isn't feeding them the priority of the Government? Yet they are wasting the money in building a temple of stone to worship a fake god 'Ram'. To worship an idol of stone. I feel sad that my brethren, the people of this country are dying of hunger. Doctors in my city Ujjain (M.P.)aren't getting PPEs and the Indian government is building a temple of stone!! This is ridiculous! The COVID-19 pandemic has badly hit the economy worldwide. So isn't it necessary to take measures to improve economic conditions of the people in India. If the money wasted to build that Ram temple of stone would instead be used to improve the country's economy it would be in favor of the people of the country. Many hungry stomachs can be filled just by stopping the construction of a temple of stone. Please sign this petition for the sake of millions of people who are about to fall below the poverty line this year.  This petition is not to spread hate against any religion in particular, but is meant to divert the money being wasted to build a temple of stone into some welfare of our brethren who are dying of hunger. Poverty,joblessness and the pandemic will destroy the country if this money isn't used constructively instead of wasting it to make the temple of a fake god's idol.
