Make running down cats a crime that you legally have to stop and report or face punishment

The Issue

Hitting a cat is the same as hitting a dog, child or cyclist and should be treated as such. All of these can unexpectedly jump out increasing chances of danger, this is why we have road safety signs and speed limits in place! 99% of hit and runs are caused by reckless drivers either speeding or not paying enough attention to the road. On January 19th 2022 my baby Oreo 2years old was cruely involved in a hit and run, this happened right next to a crossing on Church Road Tranmere durning a busy school morning so this could have easily been a child! The damage cause by the hit shows that the driver was most definitely going faster than the 30mph speed limit and sadly he isn't the only cat that has been affected by this on this road and maybe others on the wirral and its now time for a change these are our family members and lives changes forever by careless drivers and heartless laws. Please help make a change by signing today.
