Install More Fishing Line Bins

Install More Fishing Line Bins
The issue
Every year thousands of seals get caught in fishing lines and most of them die while not many people do anything about it. More than 300 fishing line bins around and that may seem like a lot but it isn’t. We need as many people as possible to not throw their fishing line into the water because not only does it harm seals but all other wildlife to. I’m writing this petition to tell the government to install more fishing line bins near fishing ports and seal habitats. There are two bonuses to this. Number 1: it will save wildlife and stop polluting our waters so that we don’t have to swim around in garbage. Number 2: we can recycle the fishing line to make more products including fishing line.
If we can’t for some reason plant the bins, whenever you go fishing you can bring a bag and throw your fishing line into there and when you get out of the water throw it into recycling. You can’t be careless with fishing line because it can lead to death. We can do so little yet it would help so much. Just think for a second before you dump your fishing line in the water, instead just put it in a bucket take it home and put it into recycling or if there is fishing line bin near you just put it into there because you will be doing the sea a favour.
We are leading this world to its end and throwing rubbish into the water won’t help it. Global warming is at its peak, pollution is thriving and turtles, seals, and coral life are dying because people are throwing their junk into the water because they’re being lazy. We need to do everything we can do to stop polluting our oceans. Your saving mere seconds. Were not helping anyone or anything except for our end. It’s really not that hard to keep your fishing line and throw it away.
In conclusion we should all try to think before we do because doing such little things would help so much especially if a lot of people do it. We need more fishing line bins and more people to stop being lazy and think before you do anything.
