In this time of pandemic, the healthcare workers take risk of their lives to serve COVID-19 positive patients. They play a pivotal role to fight this COVID-19 pandemic. Their job is not simple and they are overworked because they are working almost 24/7. I want to thank all the frontliners especially the healthcare workers because they are serving our country and fight the COVID-19 to end this pandemic. The purpose of this petition is to have an increased in salary to the healthcare workers (doctors, nurses, medical technologist, etc.).  The healthcare workers in the private sector who are working 10 to 12 hours a day are getting only PHP10,000 to Php12,000 per month. Increased in salary will motivate the healthcare workers. The healthcare workers deserve an increased in salary in exchange for their hard work. And since they were the ones who's caring for us and they're sacrificing their lives just to save us, I think it's enough to show our gratitude by giving them what they deserve.
