After the extreamly mild sentancing of Kate Greenhalgh who knowingly neglected and starved to death horses in her care , I propose this petition to increase the sentacing imposed on those individuals who inflict such pain and suffering. The pictures were harrowing , and there’s no explanation or reasoning as to why she decided to keep horses un rugged , with no food and no care. One horses foot abscess was so severe it had tracked up its leg till it could no longer weight bare , luckily with vet intervention the young horse survived. Others were not so lucky. 
Her sentencing did not reflect the appalling crime. She didn’t even get a ban from keeping horses. It’s time we started standing up for our animals and time the law was changed to make the punishment for the crime of causing unnecessary pain and suffering.

we can’t bring those poor horses back but we can try and prevent it happening to others
