On April, 28th, 2020, Mubarak Bala was arrested in Kaduna State, North West Nigeria by the Nigerian Police in cahoots with some Islamic fundamentalists for blasphemy against Mohammad of the Islamic religion.

He was later transferred to Kano state, a fundamentalist state that has a history of religious intolerance and assasinations.
Since his arrest, Bala has been denied access to his family, lawyers and his associates and it is suspected that he is being subjected to torture in detention.

This is against all known human rights laws and we are demanding for his immediate release...
