With racism becoming a big problem and there being some cases of police racism and police brutality, there have been a lot of people who have been saying "defund the police." Which to me, is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. If anything, the police should receive more money, but if not that, to just not cut there budget.

So basically, the basis of Defund the Police is "oh, a few cops did something bad, so the hundreds of thousands of good cops out there who keep us safe should lose some of there pay." See how dumb that sounds. Police are what keeps the world in order and keeps us safe and they are trying to make them worse because a few of them did something bad.

Now, if they funded the police more, then we could give them better gear, more resources, and biggest of all, educate the police more so the stuff that is happening with racist cops isn't a thing anymore. Giving more money to the police will create better police officers and less crime.

So, with the chance of a 10% cut coming to all police deputies, I think something needs to be done about it, I know a petition wont fix it, but it'll help get us on the right foot to stop defunding the police!
