A Republic Act is a piece of legislation used to create policy in order to carry out the principles of the Constitution. It is crafted and passed by the Congress of the Philippines and approved by the President of Philippines. It can only be repealed by a similar act of Congress.

There are lots of Penal Codes and Republic Acts here in the Philippines which are being abandoned and there are new Republic Acts that were approved even it doesn't help for the betterment of the country and some  are already exceeding to human principles. Charter Change in the Philippines or Constitutional Reform in the Philippines must be approved so that there will be renewal of laws and to avoid corruption. If this Charter Change will be implemented there will be a big impact to the life of every Filipinos and it will lead to the betterment of the Philippines.
