This year has seen an increase in extremely loud fireworks. When we were younger, firework night was once a year. However now it seems that fireworks are used for any celebration. The impact they have on wildlife, pets and people is varied,but can be lethal. Horses blinded, burnt and killed. Dogs terrified and needing medication, cats with rockets strapped to them... The list goes on. This is just the tolip of the iceberg. In Birmingham, Tamworth and Walsall youth were videos firing them at police, cars and the public. Please make the selling of fireworks illegal. If you Google firework animal injuries the list is never-ending. Stop this cruelty now. Organised events only.
