I want it to be legal to own an axolotl in all states of the united states of America. Mainly where I'm from (new jersey) Supposedly they are illegal here in new jersey because Their ability to interbreed with native species. In New Jersey, they could breed with Tiger salamanders, which are endangered. When would you put your pet axolotl in a room with a tiger salamander. Who would own both. Plus, I still think its stupid that such a harmless animal is illegal because it can mate with different animals.
