Stop the use of tar and chippings to resurface roads. This process is a cheap way of providing a temporary road surface that soon breaks down again.

It is also dangerous to road users, especially those on 2 wheels as the remaining loose chippings are never cleared away, leaving the roads slippery.

Additional damage is done to vehicles by the sharp chippings being thrown up, damaging paintwork and tyres.
