Joanne Marchetti has convinced Sin by Silence , her 1 surviving son , the parole board and I don't know how many other well meaning people that she KILLED her abuser !!! She KILLED her 5 year old son , now get this , she beat him half to death , her mother showed up in the middle of the beating , her then live in boyfriend got home from going to the store and between the two of them they talked him into beating the poor half dead 5 year old again so when the police got involved the two surviving children could tell them that Rickie did the beating ,but the older child Brandy could not keep their lie straight and during the pre-trial arraingment. She kept implacating her mother Joanne in the murder . So Joanne decided to plea bargain for 2nd degree murder instead of going to trial . She beat her son Randy Edward Marchetti not her husband Randy Edward Marchetti and the people at Sin by Silence are believing her when she say's it was her husband she beat to death . I know that it sounds way out and unbelievable but I am really very sad to say that it is the truth and her daughter Brandy Marchetti is scared to death that she will be released and be able to get a hold of her children and harm them somehow . She can still remember standing there with her youngest brother Mark and watching her mother beat Randy , the only good thing that they did was they didn't make her watch when Rickie took over the beating . That poor young lady will probably never get over having nightmares about it all and now she gits to relive it all over again !
