I worked at Cimarron Correctional Facility from Feb 2017 to Jan of 2019. The vast majority of the people who work there are good and decent people. There are roughly 290 of them that are about to lose their jobs because the state of Oklahoma is trying to cut the budget.  That's not even the worst part. 

If they close Cimarron all of the gang members at Cimarron will be sent to state run prisons that are not equipped to handle these dangerous inmates.  Crips, bloods, UABs, Irish Mob and others will infiltrate these state prisons and recruit new members. This will cause chaos and put many state employees in danger. Please sign this petition to keep Cimarron Correctional Facility open.  The state of Oklahoma will end up spending more to hire more COs to deal with this crisis. The best answer is to keep Cimarron open.
