Many users a switched from other storage options to use google photos to store their images and videos. Google announced that starting on June 1, 2021, new photo and video uploads will count towards the 15GB of free storage included with every Google Account. This will force users to either pay or try to find alternatives (if any).

This petition is to protest this decision and not allow google to hold our family and personal memories hostage. While existing uploads will not count any new uploads will count against storage limits - in reality forcing users to limit capturing memories.
