Get repair/replacement support from Google and Huawei for the Nexus 6P

Nexus 6P devices are spontaneously entering an infinite rebooting state, also called boot loop. In this condition, the devices are unable to access the Android operating system. Thus, the devices are not usable or bricked.

Many of the devices, purchased in Q4 2015, are outside of the one year warranty period. The devices were bought and sold worldwide, and the issue is documented as affecting a significant number.

Google and Huawei are aware of the issue affecting the devices, but have offered any insight into the root cause. Standard troubleshooting procedures, wiping cache and factory reset, are not effective in returning the device to a usable state. Even advanced techniques such as flashing (installing) new software are ineffective.

The lack of support being offered by the two corporations is disappointing. Support would be in the form of repair or replacement. This issue has left many users without a working device, or pathway to usability.
