Will Gong Hyo Jin play her part?  Please Speak Out Against the South Korean Dog Meat Trade!

The votes are in, and Gong Hyo Jin has been named as one of the top actress from South Korea; we congratulate her, this is a great achievement! And she must feel honored to have that ‘star quality’ recognized by so many people - and not just in her own country.

But we also recognize that as a public, and popular figure, Gong Hyo Jin can now take centre stage on another, very important, role.  We are imploring her to stand up, to speak out, and to publicly denounce the dog and cat-meat trades in her country, South Korea.

There is no limit to the cruelty and abuse that is carried out within these shameful trades, and there is nothing that these traders won’t do to turn a profit.  But there must be a limit on how long these aberrant trades can be allowed to continue.
