On the 15th of August the President of the Republic of South Africa announced the opening of alert level 2 of the lockdown under the Covid-19 pandemic. This was done in forces to open the economy and generate capital in the state. The people of South Africa have been patient in waiting for the easy of lock down and this has created a great opportunity for the management of parks to be open. Gold Reef City is a place where tourists and mostly South Africans can unwind with friends and family. If places such as Casinos and work places can open why should Gold Reef City be left out. 

Gold Reef City is also providing jobs to over hundreds of employees and most could even be breadwinners. So we plead. Please open the gates of the Gold Reef City Theme Park, that's with proper precautions obviously, sanitizers and wipes if needed just to keep the people safe. 

I'm not good with words but I plead with everyone to sign this petition to reach 25 000 signatures and shares to friends and family. This would really be helpful to save jobs and contribute to the economy of this country.

If the Gold Reef City management would help us with this petition it would really mean a lot to us and we are certain that this will be pleasing to them.
