So basically Sodom and Gomorrah are canaanite cities along the Jordan River. Both cities are notoriously sinful.Abraham (hes this prophet from mesopotamia) pleaded with God to spare any righteous people in the cities. God agreed, but only TEN people were spared by God. A man named Lot, and his family (these are abraham's cousins) were the only righteous among the cities. They were told not to look back upon the city as they were leaving it! Lot's wife ends up looking back and God turns her into a pillar of SALT. Thats so misogynistic of Him. Sign my petition to get God to turn Lot's wife back into a human being!
