Thank you to everyone who has signed so far (or who signed the paper petition earlier this year).
I've just been looking at the data on Collideoscope, the crowd-sourced map of cycling accidents or near-misses. One road stands out in the Stroud valleys for cyclists reporting near-misses, with vehicles passing too close or too fast. It's the A419.
That's why we need your help to get as many signatures as possible on this petition for a County Council Commitment to make space for cyclists: putting active transport first.
Please share the petition with your friends and networks. It only takes a few seconds to post it to a Facebook group or to ask someone producing a newsletter to include it. We'll be accepting signatures throughout January.
(P.S. If you experience any accidents or near-miss incidents cycling in the area, please do report them via Collideoscope.org.uk, as the data that gives help us make the case for cycling improvements)
