In 2016, several officers from the Gloucester Police department were allegedly involved in a sex scandal known to locals as "The Pond Road Sex Scandal". Although there was supposedly an investigation that took place/may still be underway, the public was never informed on any results or updates on the aforementioned investigation, or how the Gloucester PD officers were involved. We demand that the Gloucester Police Department inform the public on anything that was discovered as a result of the investigation. 

Allegedly, the former Gloucester Chief of Police, Leonard Campanello was somehow directly involved both in the scandal and the covering up of what occured at Pond Road. Although he was fired not long after the news of this scandal came to light, the truth of Campanello's involvement remains generally unknown to the people of Gloucester. In addition, there were at least two other officers that were supposedly involved with this scandal.

By signing this petition, we are demanding that the Gloucester Police Department and the current chief of police disclose any information that relates to the investigation of the scandal. 

Allegations:

The officers involved may have offered excemption from charges such as DUIs to women in exchange for engagment in sexual activities with the officer(s).

The former Chief of Police was involved in this scandal in some way and erased evidence that could lead to his involvement. 

Officers who may have been involved were bribed in order to keep this scandal a secret.
