The Issue
My personal journey has been marked by loss, victimization, inequality, terrorism and hatred. I've lost family members and my rights have been violated. I've witnessed the absence of compassion and integrity in what we call a civilized society. This petition is not just about me; it's about all of us who believe in a world where respect, freedom from violence and terrorism, free speech without fear of retribution are fundamental rights.
We live in a world where 1 in 3 women globally experience physical or sexual violence (World Health Organization). A world where journalists are killed for speaking out - with at least 50 media workers killed worldwide in 2020 (Reporters Without Borders). A world where terrorism continues to be a significant threat with over 13 thousand terrorist attacks recorded globally in 2019 (Global Terrorism Database).
This petition "Global Justice and Equality for all" aims to change that reality. It seeks to ensure that all people globally are treated with respect, free from violence and threats. It demands the right for everyone to speak freely without fear of retribution. It calls for an end to terrorism and insists on compassion and kindness as core values within our societies.
Most importantly, this petition underscores that we are all equally responsible for ensuring adherence to justice and the law - because only then can we truly move forward as a global community. Just by signing the petition you are making a difference, and any donations will go towards the charity of your choice (unless not stated) or a project or program designed to meet the objectives.
