Local people should get priority tickets for Glastonbury festival resale

Local people should get priority tickets for Glastonbury festival resale
The Issue
Glastonbury festival causes loads of distruption to the local areas leading up to, after and during the festival. Many locals have to rearrange working hours, traffic is a nightmare and public transport is completely disrupted. As locals we support the festival and as a way of accepting the impact it causes to us during the festival we have had a selection of local tickets which have been available for us to attend the festival! I have been attending Glastonbury for over a decade and this year was the first year that thousands of local people didnt get a ticket due to system errors and zoning local tickets. Many people who are not local have been using local addresses meaning that the real local people missed out, stronger checks and proof of address also needs to be put in place! This petition is to suggest that local people get priority when resale tickets go on sale!
