Give U.S. Territories a Voice — Grant Voting Seats in Congress
The Issue
Give Guam and U.S. Territories the Same Rights as Every American!
People in Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands are U.S. citizens/residents who pay taxes, serve in our military, and contribute to the nation — but have no voting members in Congress. We call on Congress to propose a constitutional amendment granting full voting representation in the House of Representatives to U.S. territories. Sign to show you support equal representation for all Americans.
Americans in Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands live under U.S. sovereignty, serve in our armed forces, pay taxes, and contribute to our country in countless ways. Yet, unlike every state, they have no full voting representation in Congress.
This is taxation without representation — and it’s un-American.
We call on Congress to propose and pass a constitutional amendment guaranteeing voting seats in the U.S. House of Representatives for all U.S. territories.
Every American deserves a voice in the laws that govern their lives. Add your name to demand equal representation for all.
Right now, people who live in Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands are U.S. citizens. But they cannot vote for president, and they don’t have full seats in Congress. That means millions of U.S. citizens have no real voice in their own government.
This isn’t fair. If you’re born in a U.S. territory, you should have the same rights as someone born in any state. Every citizen deserves representation and a vote.
I am asking Congress to give Guam and all U.S. territories:
Full voting rights in Congress
Real seats in both the House of Representatives and the Senate
The ability to vote for president
Equal access to federal programs and funding
Millions of Americans are living without full political representation. Voting rights are fundamental to our democracy — no one should be denied them because of where they were born. By supporting this petition, you’re standing up for fairness, equality, and the democratic principle that every American voice matters.
