Mount Stromlo High School's current logo is a recognizable and impactful logo made by a student but due to school rebranding we have to change our school's logo. This is due to the imagery of the telescope as we currently have no connection to the Mount Stromlo observerty. People also associate the telescope with a drug smoking device.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although it would be the best case scenario, keeping the old logo is a non-negotiable. 

Instead of changing our logo to a modern design we propose a Student made adaptation of our old logo. This logo removes the telescope and replaces it with stars to align with the motto, reaching for the stars.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We do not want to make this the logo but instead add it as an option to allow for students to show their opinions in an actually democratic vote.

All we ask is a few signatures so we can bring this before the principal before the logo change is enacted.
