When Chivalry 2 launched on Epic Games, people who preordered were able to get access to an exclusive Royal Zweihander skin.

The game has since launched on Steam, and people who buy the game on there can't unlock it no matter what they do.

Personally, I preordered Chivalry 2 on the EGS, which means I'm a rightful owner of the skin, but have no way of accessing it because I only play through Steam (and I would assume when cross-progression is added, I'll have to choose between keeping my stats, and transferring my skin).

Plus, Steam has exclusive helmets for following the community - but these are only timed exclusives! So, it only seems fair that the Royal Zweihander should also be a timed exclusive rather than permanent.

Torn Banner, please reconsider your decision on not allowing Steam users to unlock this skin - some of us already own the skin but can't access it via Steam, and others rightfully refused to preorder on a platform with security poor enough that I personally ended up £80 out of pocket because of them.
