We are asking the Somerset Springs Homeowners Association Board to reconsider the newly implemented $300 annual lease administration fee and mandatory lease disclosure requirements for homeowners who rent their properties.

Homeowners were not given the opportunity to vote or provide input before this policy was approved. Many residents believe the fee is excessive and that requiring owners to submit lease agreements and tenant information raises privacy concerns.

We respectfully request that the HOA:

• Pause implementation of the $300 annual lease administration fee

• Allow homeowners the opportunity to review and vote on this policy

• Provide clear transparency on how this fee amount was determined

• Explore less intrusive and more reasonable alternatives for tracking property occupancy

This petition is not intended to oppose responsible community management, but to ensure that homeowners have a voice in policies that impact their property rights, finances, and privacy.
