Around a year ago, I was invited by a close friend to watch a movie at his house. After grabbing some bagels and two cups of Tropicana (apparently 100%) orange juice we turned on the TV, but lo and behold, we were met with our biggest challenge yet - deciding on which movie to watch. After half an hour of some delicious bagels and no progress, we stumbled onto a film with a character so well written, our eyes have yet to witness the likes of it in cinema. The movie was called Storks. Although the film centered around a stork, a girl, and a baby delivery mission, the spotlight was entirely stolen by a fascinating and memorable character - this character goes by the alias Pigeon Toady.

Pigeon Toady is a peculiar character, always trying to fit in with the other storks. His thought process is unlike anything we've ever seen on the big screen, (not to mention the oscar deserving voice actor), and we believe it is complete injustice that Warner Bros. decided to make Pigeon Toady a side character in this movie. His unique and dynamic behavior acts as an archetype for the average citizen, demonstrating man's innate desire to fit in with his comrades, as well as the lengths he will go to to achieve this feat. We've only received a small glimpse of the moral conflict of Pigeon Toady as he navigates the toils of this unforgiving world, and we will not rest until more of this character is presented along with with the glorious storytelling it deserves.
