GOD IS GREAT!  As of last night Tim is awake and alert, according to the nurses!  Although doctors had given him no chance  3 weeks ago and said he would not  come off the ventilator.; I knew that God would answer our prayers.  The need is extremely important that he goes to Select Specialty Hospital ASAP; just laying in ICU, he had developed Pneumonia but has fought that off!  He continues to breath on his own.  Select Specialty Hospital even filed an appeal on Tim's behalf and it was denied; I filed an Expedited Appeal on August 20th, and to date have not received a reply from Aetna -- they were required to reply to an Expedited Appeal within 72 hours.  Yesterday, I called for the last time to try and find out about my appeal, to no avail; now I will go to the next phase of this fight!  Please refer to my post on FB yesterday where I highlighted 2 other cases which have been broadcast on NBC this month.  Therefore, this fight is not just for Tim, but for people all over the U.S. who have been denied because of the cost of the care they need per their doctors, yet they were denied and had to fight for 30 days or more to get approval -- we don't have 30 days and he needs to start receiving the therapy he needs now to get him up before he has another bout of Pneumonia from being sedentary in that bed.  I will continue to fight until my last breath!  Please continue to fight with me.
