After reading God of Ruin, us and a lot of our fellow readers who are long time supporters of Rina Kent LOVED Maya Sokolov and her relationship dynamic with Ilya. Maya has such great potential and her character has so much depth. She reminds so many people of Silver, Reina and Nicole (even Rai to some extent). Those books are some of readers’ favourites.

Mia and Maya’s relationship in the first 3/4th part of God of Ruin really touched our hearts. Maya's character is so relatable to so many people, she just needed love and wanted to be seen as much as Mia. Doesn't excuse that she hid such a big secret from her. But she did apologize and we get where she was coming from. Maya and Nik’s relationship was also left unexplored to some extent. Readers would love to see that. Don't even get us started on Maya and Ilya, they both balance each other out so well. It's adorable to see how Maya fidgets and blushes for no one except Ilya, it's like she turns into a child again. Ilya would be such an interesting character to read about and I've been vying for him since God of Wrath. We really wanna see what mistake she made with Ilya and read about it in elaboration rather than just crumbs in Nik and Bran’s book. 

In all, we just penned down what so many readers are feeling at the moment and would love for Maya to get her own book. Maya deserves love and support and my heart aches for her. She just has so much potential and we would hate for it to go to waste. Rina Kent is all about giving villains and misunderstood characters a chance and we love her for it. So, we really hope she changes her mind about not giving Maya a book.
