The girls' locker room at McFarland Community Ice Arena is too small and does not meet the needs of the growing girls' hockey program. The space is so limited that more than two people cannot comfortably use it at once, making it difficult for players to get ready with all of their equipment. Girls deserve a locker room that makes them feel valued and welcomed. As more girls join hockey through programs like Learn to Play, we hope to create a better space that shows girls' hockey matters.
