Firebreather is a 2010 Cartoon Network original movie that was based on a comic series made by Phil Hester, Andy Kuhn, and Bill Crabtree. It was directed by Peter Chung, written by Jim Krieg, and was produced with the help of Julia Pistor.

Have you ever watched a movie and thought to yourself, “Wow, this movie was great; they should really make a series or a sequel out of this,” and then you check to see if there ever was a series or sequel made from it, only to realize there never was? Well, if this is something you can relate to, then you’ll understand how a lot of us felt after watching Firebreather.

In fact, Firebreather was meant to have a series or a sequel. As many have pointed out, this movie acted almost like a pilot episode, and that's because it sort of was a pilot episode. If the movie did well enough, there were plans to continue the story, and the movie turned out great. It got millions of views and was rated favorably, but like most things in life, the fate of Firebreather was decided by money.

In 2010, CGI wasn’t cheap, and even if Cartoon Network wanted to make more out of Firebreather, they just couldn’t justify spending so much money on it, so it was never continued.

Now, you may be asking yourself, “What is this petition supposed to do about that?” Well, it may sound far-fetched, but my hope with this petition is to get the attention of a large movie studio or a large production company, or really just someone who can push it along. With your signature, you can help make this possible..

Even though it’s been many years now, it’s not unheard of for a series to make a comeback like this, and there is definitely still plenty of potential left in Firebreather. I believe that if studios realized how popular Firebreather could be, there would definitely be some interested in continuing the story.
