I really like Disney's "Enchanted" (2007)!! It's such a great movie! It has such a strange but unique, interesting, and special twist on the traditional Disney classics! Great story, lovable and funny characters, and a beautiful soundtrack! The sequel "Disenchanted" (2022) was also great as well! I still can't believe next year in November 2027 will be the original movie's 20th anniversary!! Not only that but it will also be the 5th anniversary of "Disenchanted" as well. It came out in November 2022 which was the year of the original movie's 15th anniversary! Talk about perfect timing! (Actually, I'm pretty sure they did that on purpose.) It's absolutely incredible! Happy early anniversary to both of them!!

I thought of the perfect way for Disney to celebrate its anniversary: give it a limited theatrical re-release! It definitely deserves it!! Many people out there, including myself, never got to experience Enchanted on the big screen the first time! I heard it never got any theatrical re-releases since its original run! Not even at the El Capitan Theatre which is widely known for giving them to their classics and some blockbusters!! Also, Disney hasn't announced any special theatrical anniversary re-releases for the movie yet. In fact, it almost seems they're not interested in doing it either! They haven't even announced anything during an early 20th-anniversary celebration of the film with a special "20 Years of Enchanted: A Love Letter to Disney" panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event last month in August 2026. It's absolutely preposterous! Like I said before, the movie deserves a theatrical re-release very much!!

Disney's "Enchanted" is a timeless classic that captivated audiences with its whimsical charm and imaginative storyline. This movie ingeniously blends the animated world with the real one, offering viewers a delightful and memorable experience. Like I said before, it was a special Disney movie because it had a very unique and interesting twist on their traditional classics. Not only that but the concept of having the real world and the fairytale world collide was also interesting and exciting! There has never been anything like Enchanted!

It's time to honor the creativity and originality of this film by bringing it back to cinemas in celebration of its 20th anniversary in November 2027.  A theatrical re-release would not only allow die-hard fans like myself to relive the magic but would also introduce "Enchanted" to a new generation of audiences who have yet to see it on the big screen—an experience like no other. Releasing the film in theaters for a limited time would be a fitting tribute and a testament to its enduring appeal, offering fans old and new the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful soundtrack and visual spectacle in its full glory.

Also, for the special release of Disenchanted (2022) which was available in 4K UHD, the original movie was restored in that format but only on Disney plus. It's currently not available in 4K UHD in retail physical copies and on other digital platforms. Also, not only has the original movie never got any theatrical re-releases but it's never been shown in 4K UHD on the big screen as well. "Enchanted" would be even more glorious and beautiful if they gave it a special 4K UHD 20th anniversary edition and presented it in that format in other digital platforms and on the big screen! 

There's something else I thought about: I really think they should also give the sequel "Disenchanted"(Enchanted 2) a theatrical re-release as well. Like I said before, 2027 will also be the sequel's 5th anniversary as well! Maybe they should rerelease both "Enchanted" and "Disenchanted" in theaters and make it a double feature like they did with "Freaky Friday" and the sequel "Freakier Friday" at several theaters like the El Capitan Theatre in 2025. Unlike the original movie, it was made into a Disney+ exclusive! While Disney+ is a great streaming service, many people, including myself, were disappointed that it wasn't shown on the big screen. The original movie's 20th anniversary and the sequel's 5th anniversary could be their chance to make up for all of this! And maybe even have "Disenchanted" available on physical copies just like the original movie!

The El Capitan Theatre has a rich history of showcasing iconic Disney films, and "Enchanted" rightfully deserves to be a part of this tradition. As a significant location for Disney, it would be the perfect venue to host this magical re-release event. But it would be wonderful if they were able to rerelease in other theaters as well. In an era where nostalgia has a powerful impact on audiences, a theatrical re-release could potentially revive interest in the "Enchanted" franchise and engage Disney fans worldwide.

Let's make this 20th anniversary a memorable milestone for "Enchanted" by urging Disney to give both the original movie and its sequel "Disenchanted" (Enchanted 2) the theatrical re-releases they truly deserve. We don't have that much time left! Like I said before, November 2027 is the original movie's 20th anniversary which is a bit more than a year from now! We have got to try to urge Disney to make this happen before it's too late!
