Give Dan Beyer & Monse Bolanos the 3–5 PM show on Fox Sports Radio
The Issue
If you listen to Fox Sports Radio regularly, you’ve probably noticed what a lot of us have noticed: Dan Beyer and Monse Bolanos have something really good going in the 3–5 PM time slot.
Dan and Monse have become frequent fill-ins for The Stugotz Show, often alongside J-Stew and Iowa Sam, and somewhere along the way the fill-in show started feeling like an actual show.
The chemistry is what makes it work.
All four bring completely different personalities to the microphone. They can have a legitimate sports discussion, disagree with each other, give each other a hard time, go completely off topic—and it never feels manufactured. It just sounds like a group of people who genuinely enjoy doing radio together.
And as listeners, we notice it.
Some of the most entertaining afternoons on Fox Sports Radio have come when this group is together. At this point, they’re on often enough that many of us aren’t simply accepting them as substitutes—we’re looking forward to the days they’re on.
That’s why we’re asking Fox Sports Radio to consider making it permanent.
This isn’t an anti-Stugotz petition, and it isn’t about taking anything away from another show. It’s about recognizing something that has developed organically on the network and giving it an opportunity to grow.
Give Dan Beyer and Monse Bolanos, with J-Stew and Iowa Sam, their own weekday show from 3–5 PM.
The chemistry is already there.
The audience is already listening.
The show is basically already happening.
Now make it official.
Beyer. Bolanos. J-Stew. Iowa Sam.
3–5 PM. Five days a week.
