Since the end of last school year the sandwich toasters at county prep high school have been unplugged and students were denied having their sandwiches toasted. Since then the quality of the cafeteria and its food has only decreased, about a week ago the bread used to make the sandwiches in our school had been changed from the white rolls we are used to, to a cheap alternative that is poorer in quality and taste. For a few weeks now the school stopped serving cookies during lunch periods denying our students a snack if they are hungry, this is terrible for students who have lunch seventh period because they will be too hungry to function normally by the time they have lunch. Another reason is that the cafeteria has stopped serving ice cream during lunch periods, at first they served less and less until eventually they stopped serving it all together and took the ice cream machine away. One final reason for this is that the school has recently started limiting how many juices our students can get, one small cup of juice is not enough for a normal teenager and denying us more than one juice cup is causing us to go thirsty. These are just some of the reasons I think the cafeteria quality is declining and becoming less and less enjoyable thank you for taking the time to read and sign this petition.
