After collecting $166 billion in tariffs, the U.S. government is now preparing to refund that money — but only to businesses.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans who actually paid the price — through higher costs on everyday goods — will receive nothing.

Tariffs are taxes, and those costs were passed directly to consumers. Families across the country paid more for groceries, clothing, and basic goods.

Now, as refunds are issued, the people who bore the burden are being left out.

This is not fair.

We call on:

U.S. Congress
U.S. Department of Treasury
U.S. Customs and Border Protection
to immediately launch a system that allows American consumers to apply for direct relief or receive compensation from tariff refunds.
