Some people tend to adopt or purchase cats with breeds which is unfortunate for those cats who are on roads and streets roaming until someone will take care of them. Recently, I saw two kittens in a box without their mother and we decided to bring them to our house since they might starve out of hunger or something tragic might happen to them since there is a high possibility of them encountering risks and dangers. Driving along the way, I saw many stray cats which made me wonder the reason why many cats are being neglected which people should not do. 

According to the Philippines Animal Welfare Society, there is an estimated twelve million stray cats roamed back in 2019. It is saddening that pets are still thrown and left outside by this year 2023, which may be intentional or not. Due to that, the owners do not have the capability to provide their pets the best they deserve, it may be financially, physically, or emotionally, and the population of stray cats is getting wide. There has been collecting data on this issue, indicating that both dogs and cats are provided with love, joy, and companionship to humans; however, it cannot be denied that dogs are preferred as they are emotionally satisfying to shelter for protection. People assume that cats are the most prone to survival and that humans think cats do not crave much love from us. Hence, stray cats are pitiful whereby shameless people make fun of them by heartlessly harming such killing them, and avoiding them as if conveyed like they do not belong to be in this world. 

In line with this, always put in mind that we should help those stray cats we see outside by feeding them or giving them care at all costs whether it is big or small. Perhaps, we do not need to buy something for them, instead, defend them in any danger because their lives are precious as humans. Every cat's life matter; therefore, treat them as if they are humans, shelter them if possible, and make a healthy environment for them.
