In late May 2015, Caitlyn, a 15-month old chocolate Staffordshire bull terrier mix was left on someone's doorstep with tape wrapped around her muzzle so tightly that her tongue was caught between her teeth. The tape was there for three days. After doctors removed the tape, her muzzle had swollen so much, double the normal size, that she may need surgery to save her life. According to Dr. Kelli Klein “This was intentional”, and by looking at pictures and videos, you can see that is is, because no one would accidentally tape a dogs mouth shut.

During the 3 days that Caitlyn was tortured with this tape, she had no way of eating or drinking, and if she had not been found would have died shortly after.

Recently a man was arrested in connection to the case, and MIGHT get up to 5 years.. 5 YEARS??? If this was a human being it would be considered attempted murder and would get a much harsher penalty than 5 years.

Please don't let this person get away with this by only giving him UP TO 5 years.. a live being almost died, because they found it fun to torture a live being.
