Laura Larrivee is a RI DHS Supervisor, YES, a state employee who was paid $100k last year with our tax dollars and who has knowingly chose to post inappropriate and offensive tik tok videos (@nightdiva2020) that throw disrespectful jabs at planned parenthood, BLM, social inequalities, and police brutality. While everyone has a right to their own political views and freedom of speech, I find it counterproductive, toxic, and unprofessional for government employees to show blatant disregard for the people they serve by using social media. After calling out Laura Larrivee, her co-worker at DHS has started a petition to save her job, which shows that our very own DHS Dept, despite all the scrutiny the dept has been under, has other taxpayer paid employees opposing the current powerful movement demanding EQUALITY! To proudly stand against equality all while bragging about her "wealthy" salary which is paid my taxpayers like myself and you is NOT ACCEPTABLE AND SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED! Her position is to help the same minorities she clearly stands against. We cannot have people like her in those kind of positions if we are demanding change!
