Gillingham River Walk is used by 1000’s of people each year. The walk provides a unique opportunity for people to spend time enjoying the local area, socialise and keep fit. The council’s own targets include encouraging people to get more exercise and play a more active role in the community. The River Walk is a key way that people can keep fit, meet neighbours and build positive relationships. It is essential a safe crossing point is put in situ for the safety of the community on the B3092 at Peacemarsh.
