Amos Schonfield is a Deputy, a member of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.

On 15.1.21 Schonfield called three Jews (Yochy Davis, Martin Hizer, Esther Chayes) ‘fascist sympathisers’; one (Yochy Davis) is the daughter of a Holocaust Survivor:

The Board of Deputies’ Code of Conduct says that Deputies must treat fellow Deputies, Board employees and others  with respect, courtesy, honesty and fairness.

Schonfield repeatedly violates this.

The Code applies to Deputies when they represent the Board and also ‘where the reputation of the Board may be affected’.

Schonfield’s getout has always been that the Board’s Constitution Committee says that his Twitter activity is completely separate from the Board and does not affect its reputation.

Enough is enough. Schonfield is obviously bringing the Board into disrepute and it is way overdue for the Code of Conduct to be applied.
