At Gettysburg College, there is a lack of gender neutral bathroom options in public spaces such as servo, CUB, and academic buildings. Because of this, transgender, gender fluid, agender and queer members of our campus may feel uncomfortable or even unsafe using gender specific bathrooms. We are trying to raise awareness of this problem and hoping to make a change by providing our campus community with access to more neutral options. Possible solutions include converting gendered bathrooms into bathrooms for all to use or creating other, non-gender specific bathroom options.
