This petition was created because college football players need to start being paid salaries for their work. Imagine working 50 hours a week and putting your body on the line for a corporation paying you nothing. Would you like to do that job, probably not right? That job is college football. 

Negatives to not getting college football players salaries: 

players are living week to week just trying to pay for things like food 

players don't have the time to get a job because of the amount of work they do

The schools that are going to give money have a massing recruiting advantage

The schools will lose money because of players leaving causing the football program to lose money on ticket sales

Player's grades aren't doing good

20% of NCAA players are homeless

NIL deals only benefit people with big names

Some schools say they can't afford to pay their students 

   Advantages to giving players salaries:

recruiting advantage for the school

They will be more focused on school and their sport

Gives players relief by not needing to worry about money problems

More time to focus on school assignments

If a player gets injured they can have money to fall back on cause they can lose their scholarship and having that money could help finish paying for school

When players leave school if they are not being drafted then they will have money and a degree to start their lives which would be very helpful to them
