The US and Canadian federal governments jointly agreed to close our border crossings during the pandemic in order to help limit the spread of the deadly Corona virus. It was the smart thing to do!

However, the government forgot that you and I and over a million and a half other Canadian and American NEXUS members paid $50 (USD) for FIVE years of border-crossing convenience, not THREE.

Your Nexus renewal fee will come due right on schedule, just as though your card had "worked" all along. Don't you think you should be compensated for nearly two years of lost usage? 

How about a 2 year extension on your renewal date? Or just a nice 20 dollar bill?
