SkolBaby is a 22-year-old autistic woman who turns 23 in October. She deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard in her own home.

 

We are demanding that SkolBaby’s current living situation be taken seriously and that she be allowed to leave her current group home and move in with her aunt, Alisha.

 

SkolBaby has reported abusive and harmful treatment involving people in the group home, including roommates and staff. Being autistic should never mean someone has to accept mistreatment, be ignored, or have their concerns dismissed.

 

This isn't about asking SkolBaby to simply put up with the situation.

 

**She needs a way out.**

 

Her aunt Alisha is willing to provide her with a home, and we want the people responsible for SkolBaby’s housing and care to take the necessary steps toward making that move happen as quickly and safely as possible.

 

## We are demanding:

 

- **That SkolBaby be allowed to leave her current group-home environment.**

- **That her request to move in with Aunt Alisha be taken seriously and acted upon.**

- **That the allegations of abuse and mistreatment be properly investigated.**

- **That SkolBaby be protected from retaliation or further mistreatment.**

- **That SkolBaby’s wishes and voice be respected when decisions about her future are made.**

- **That her autism be accommodated rather than used as a reason to disregard her wishes.**

 

SkolBaby is an adult. She deserves to have her voice heard and her choices respected.

 

**Autism does not make someone's safety less important. Autism does not make mistreatment acceptable. And autism should never be an excuse to silence someone.**

 

We want SkolBaby somewhere she can feel secure, supported, and genuinely at home.

 

**We want SkolBaby home with Aunt Alisha.**
